The pipe to be swaged is placed in between fixed and movable jaws of the pipe clamping mechanism in such a way that a portion of the pipe to be swaged protrudes towards the swaging die. The clamping cylinder is moving forward to hold the pipe between the jaws with the required clamping force. At this time, the Swaging die is kept in fully retracted position. Once the clamping pressure is reached, the pressure switch gives signal to swaging. At this point of time, die and tube is lubricated by lub oil automatically. All other moving parts of the machine are provided with grease nipples at various points to facilitate grease lubrication from time to time.
